- Classical music composed by Francisco Tárrega FREE sheet music download, www.joeno1.net contact Joe, www.joeno1.net This is a practice recording on September 18th, 2009. I re-arrange the fingering every time I pick up this study. This time I changed quite a lot. I feel good about it. It works better for me. It looks so easy by watching the video. Classical Guitarist Luther Enloe - Estudio 5 by Fernando Sor
www.enloeguitarstudio.com I teach guitar at Berry College in Rome, Georgia: www.berry.edu This is the third and final clip from the Tuesday Music Club recital that I played in Great Falls, Montana, way back in 1994. This was probably my first public recital on the classical guitar out side of a university setting. As you can see from the nativity scene it was December and I had just finished my first semester as a guitar major at the University of Georgia studying with John Sutherland. Fernando Sor (1778-1839) was one of the guitar's greatest composers. He wrote over four hundred pieces for the guitar as well as opera, ballet and other musical genres. Sor's compositional style is similar to that of Haydn and Mozart. This short, lyrical piece has been used as background music in commercials and is one of Sor's more popular studies. This piece was originally published in Sor's set of twenty-four exercises Opus 35. Today it is better known as Estudio 5 due to Segovia's publishing of twenty Sor studies in 1945. This is a beautiful piece of music and I hope that you enjoy the performance.

Leo BROUWER - # 2 Estudio Sencillo
For higher quality fr.youtube.com Nr.2 from the Estudios Sencillos is marked Coral, Lento (=slow). Brouwer gives a total time indication of 2'00". I feel that if you try to play it at roughly that speed, it brings out the beautiful choral harmonies, sounding like church bells. The great thing about the classical guitar is that you can produce so many different sounds on the instrument. This "simple" study allows you try and create these sounds at an early stage. Try it yourself!

Fernando SOR - Estudio en e minor Opus 31 N° 6
Higher quality fr.youtube.com The great thing about Mr. Sor: YOU'RE NEVER SATISFIED HOW YOU PLAY IT! All the notes count, I didn't really miss any but still... I'm sure I will play this differently in my next life! In the meantime, enjoy, criticize, comment, don't be shy! I like this study very much! It is not played that often here. Hope you like it too!

----------- This is probably the saddest and most melancholic melody I know. The "Preludios" are not too known pieces throughout Tarrega's work, though they are wonderful, like his whole work. Francisco Tarrega, despite his huge humility, marked a milestone in classical guitar, considered a vulgar instrument until then. Thanks his labour as composer, transcriber, performer and teacher, guitar is nowadays a worldwide renown instrument in cultivated music. He is one of the musicians I respect the most.

Classical Medley by Buddy Greene on the Harmonica
SINCE PEOPLE KEEP ASKING, HERE ARE THE SONGS THAT HE PLAYED ACCORDING TO COMMENTERS:
1ST: 'Jesu, Joy Of Man's Desiring' by Johann Sebastian Bach.
2ND: Mozart's Piano Sonata in C, K. 545 - Allegro
3RD: Rossini's William Tell overture (known to most as the theme from 'The Lone Ranger')
WOW. He's so good on the harmonica!Buddy has talent pouring out from his ears. He also can sing, play the guitar, and he writes music (he wrote the music for 'Mary Did You Know') but he's most known for his Harmonica. Not to mention he is a really funny, cool guy.

Fernando Sor: B-minor study
This is the famous B-minor study Op. 35 No. 22. It is said that Sor used this piece as an encore in London and was called in seven times to play it again and again... I don't know if it's true, but it's a good story .-) Picture is F. Sor's tombstone. Strings: Oasis GPX carbon www.stringsbymail.com

Fernando Sor Study Op. 31 no. 20
Fernando Sor is best in his many studies, I think. (apart form his Mozart Variations op. 9). This study in a-minor is part of my daily "warm-up" in the mornings. It's great for the right hand balance and staccato and for the left hand chords. This, together with a Tarrega study (I will post that soon) is a good start for me before playing my pieces. Peace and love to all of you out there in front of the screens! Per-Olov My CD "AFTER SILENCE" is still in high demand! It's amazing! Thank you all! You can still order it at www.villaluisarecords.com Sheet music and TAB can now be found at http
