Classical Christmas Medley (Instrumental Music)
A compilation of Christmas carols and excerpts of well-known classical pieces. A contemplative, instrumental piece for those who would enjoy 10 minutes of reflective time on our Savior's birth. The idea was inspired by my dad, Hank Lankford, who had heard Beethoven's 2nd movement of the Pathetique Sonata interwoven with Silent Night on the radio. When trying to recreate his idea, I decided to expound on this idea using a variety of Christmas hymns and classical pieces. This arrangement was my gift to my dad many years ago. It was also my father who suggested I record and put this on YouTube. With the help of my son, Chris, we did it! Here it is.... Merry Christmas, Dad. I love you!

Yodeling - Kerry Christensen - Yodeler
Kerry Christensen is not your typical yodeler. His concerts and events this year will take him to as many as 23 US states and two or three countries internationally. Kerry spent two years in the country of Austria right out of high school. There he became interested in the Alpine yodeling art. After mastering this difficult medium he was asked in l983 to move his six member family to Orlando, Florida and use his yodeling skills at Walt Disney World's Epcot Center. He performed there for almost seven years until 1990. Today Kerry performs at all kinds of state fairs, corporate events, festivals, and community concerts. He recently lent his unique classical yodeling talent to a full-length Disney animated feature called "Home on the Range." Kerry is perhaps the only full-time yodeler in the world that specializes in all styles of yodeling. He can be strictly Alpine, or he can put on his Stetson hat and do an all-cowboy yodeling show. However, many of Kerry's fans say that their favorite show is when Kerry mixes up the styles. You will hear cowboy, Alpine, Cajun, Latin, Jewish, Hawaiian, jazz, classical, and his always popular mouth trumpet and humorous chicken yodeling renditions.

7 year old playing mozart sonata in C
7 year old Brynn, playing her keyboard. She loves classical music, especially Mozart. She did eventually learn the entire sonata, but being ever the perfectionist would not let me record it because she felt it was not quite good enough. (It was.) At the time of this clip she had been taking lessons for about 18 months.

DON GIOVANNI, MOZART - il Mio Tesoro by the Peruvian Tenor Luis Alva
From Don Giovanni the Peruvian Tenor LUIS ALVA (Luigi Alva - Lima Peru April 4, 1927), as Don Ottavio, executing and singing "Il Mio tesoro" in France 1960. In this scene from Mozart's great opera Don Giovanni, Don Ottavio has become convinced that Don Giovanni was the person who killed his fiancee's father, and swears that he will make sure Donna Anna gets her revenge on Don Giovanni. www.italianbusinessguide.com DON GIOVANNI by MOZART, 1787 Don Giovanni music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and libretto of Lorenzo da Ponte and Music 1787, a delicious opera example of Bel Canto music and melodrama Don Giovanni (il dissoluto punito, ossia il Don Giovanni, literally The Rake Punished, or Don Giovanni) a great opera in two acts with music by WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART and with an Italian libretto by LORENZO DA PONTE. It was premiered in the Estates Theatre in Prague on OCTOBER 29, 1787. Da Ponte's libretto was billed like many of its time as dramma giocoso, a term that denotes a mixing of serious and comic action. MOZART entered the work into his catalogue as an "opera buffa". Although sometimes classified as comic, it blends comedy, melodrama and supernatural elements. The Danish philosopher Søren Kierkegaard wrote in his book Enten -- Eller (Either/Or) that Mozart's Don Giovanni is "a work without blemish, of uninterrupted perfection."The finale, in which Don Giovanni refuses to repent, has been a captivating philosophical and artistic topic for many writers including George ...

Pavel Steidl interprets Luigi Legnani - Caprice no. 36 - Virtuoso "
Pavel Steidl interprets Luigi Legnani's Caprice 36 (Moderato), Op. 20 Played on a copy of a "19th century guitar by Georg Staufer". Recorded May 1997. This video was uploaded to show that there are guitarists who are just as relaxed and expressive when playing fast, as when playing a slower work. Also: speed alone - is never Steidl's focus. Steidl always shapes the music to a charming effect. He's one of the few players who give 19th century guitar music the charm and friendly playfulness, which so many other guitarists either do not understand (nothing wrong with that: there are so many different musical styles), or do not have as their focus (their perverted focus usually being only speed). Bravo Mr. Steidl ! www.naxos.com

Classical Medley by Buddy Greene on the Harmonica
SINCE PEOPLE KEEP ASKING, HERE ARE THE SONGS THAT HE PLAYED ACCORDING TO COMMENTERS:
1ST: 'Jesu, Joy Of Man's Desiring' by Johann Sebastian Bach.
2ND: Mozart's Piano Sonata in C, K. 545 - Allegro
3RD: Rossini's William Tell overture (known to most as the theme from 'The Lone Ranger')
WOW. He's so good on the harmonica!Buddy has talent pouring out from his ears. He also can sing, play the guitar, and he writes music (he wrote the music for 'Mary Did You Know') but he's most known for his Harmonica. Not to mention he is a really funny, cool guy.
