Pachelbel's canon in D Major - Romantic Modernized Version This is one of the most popular compositions in the classical world which was composed during the baroque era in the 1680's by Johann Pachelbel. Performed by the Slovak Chamber Orchestra. This is a non-HIP(Historically Informed Piece) adaptation of the Canon, which means this is NOT the original "version" of the piece, as Pachelbel composed it. If you're looking after a good HIP performance, I suggest listening to Musica Antiqua Köln's, that can be found under "Video Responses". Highly recommended, enjoy!
