Two classic flamenco compositions, "Impetu" by Mario Escudero, and "Panaderos" by Esteban de Sanlucar. Before Paco did his own thing, he proved that he was a master of the tradition, and raised the standard for technique. He was probably 21 and 25 here.

VIOLETTA (sola)
È strano! È strano! In core
scolpiti ho quegli accenti!
Saria per me sventura un serio amore?
Che risolvi, o turbata anima mia?
Null'uomo ancora t'accendeva -- O gioia
ch'io non conobbi, esser amata amando!
E sdegnarla poss'io
per l'aride follie del viver mio?
Ah, fors'è lui che l'anima
solinga ne' tumulti
godea sovente pingere
de' suoi colori occulti!
Lui che modesto e vigile
all'egre soglie ascese,
e nuova febbre accese,
destandomi all'amor.
A quell'amor ch'è palpito
dell'universo intero,
misterioso, altero,
croce e delizia al cor!
Follie! follie! Delirio vano è questo!
Povera donna, sola,
abbandonata in questo
popoloso deserto
che appellano Parigi.
Che spero or più?
Che far degg'io? Gioire,
di voluttà ne' vortici perir.
Gioir, gioir!
Sempre libera degg'io
folleggiare di gioia in gioia,
vo' che scorra il viver mio
pei sentieri del piacer.
Nasca il giorno, o il giorno muoia,
sempre lieta ne' ritrovi,
a diletti sempre nuovi
dee volare il mio pensier.

Amore, amor è palpito...

Carl Czerny: Favourite Piano Studies, Op. 740. No. 25
I'm playing the 25th exercise from the Favourite Piano Studies Op. 740. No. 25. from the book "Art of finger dexterity" by Carl Czerny. Its aim is "clearness in running passages." This is the first Czerny study I have ever played, but now I'm learning other ones as well. I know it's quite boring if you don't play piano or don't know anything about music, so check out my other videos, which you may find more interesting. :-) Please feel free to rate and comment it.

With Love - Classical Spanish Guitar
I don't have tabs or sheet music for this song yet. Its an improvisation in free time which makes it a little challenging to transcribe. I haven't had time to work on it yet. If there are any volunteers out there that would like to attempt a transcription I would very much appreciate it. -John, Sept. 14th, 2010

Re: Chopsticks!!! A better version! Peter Combe!
The Internet seems to be lacking a Peter Combe version of Chopsticks, so here's one for you. LYRICS I play the violin every morning, and every evening, of everyday. Suzuki, Bach, Vivaldi, Schumann, but really all that I want to play is: *chopsticks music* I play the grand piano, practice my chords, and scales, and apegios. So boring, and, it drives my family up the wall, Dad says; why don't you play: *chopsticks music* I play the flute, the silver flute. But it doesn't sound much like James Gallway. I wonder if when he was ten, whether sometimes he was allowed to play: *chopsticks music* I'd really love to sing a classical song or two at the opera house. I'd sound like Pavarotti: *la la la etc...* I play the violin every morning, and every evening, of everyday. Suzuki, Bach, Vivaldi, Schumann, but really all that I want to play... Flamenco Spanish Guitar Malagueña Malaguena !!! A must see By Yanni
Flamenco .Malagueñas is one of the traditional styles of Andalusian music (flamenco), derived from earlier types of fandango from the area of Málaga, classified among the Cantes de Levante. Originally a folk-song type, it became a flamenco style in the 19th century. It is not normally used for dance, as it is generally interpreted with no regular rhythmic pattern, as a "cante libre". It has a very rich melody with virtuous flourishes and use of microtones. Its guitar accompaniment is normally played in open position first inversion giving E for the tonic, which can be transposed by using a capo. Origins Malagueñas derive from local variety of the Fandangos, a type of dance that, with different regional variations and even different names, became very popular in great part of Spain in the 18th century. Although nowadays malagueñas are a typical instance of "cante libre", performed at libitum and normally not used for the dance, folkloric fandangos were originally sung and played at a fast speed, with a rhythmic pattern in 6/8, to accompany dance. Some of these primitive fandangos from Málaga, called Verdiales are still performed nowadays at folkloric gatherings by large non-professional groups called "Pandas", which use a high number of guitars, "bandurrias" (a sort of mandoline), violins, and tambourines. [edit]Development Towards the second half of the 19th century, some interpreters gave the first steps in transforming this folkloric songs into real flamenco. They ...
