Chopin Nocturne Op 72 in E minor

May 8, 2008 :Recital #3. Please excuse the audio quality...This is taken by a camcorder..Your comments are welcome.....be nice! This is only my 3rd performance, and I chose for the first time, to play 4 pieces instead of 1....a bit much for my level of musical maturity....and nerve threshold! I began studying piano almost 4 years ago, and can't imagine a day without it! My hope and desire, in addition to personal growth in music, is to inspire others, to discover, or rediscover, their true passion/s, whatever they may be.......It's never too late, because no one in the artist's world is perfect! Particularly from the creator's/artist's point of view! My passion happens to be classical music/piano. I have learned through music..... so much more than just the obvious...Music has taught me about myself, and about life.. I truly believe that God, through his gift of music, has truly changed who I am. I have learned perserverance, determination, and most of all patience with MYSELF. I have learned to quit trying to be perfect, but to work hard..... and when my "best just isn't good enough," simply enjoy where I am now musically, and trust that my passion and determination to improve musically will pave the way to inspiration for others! I Thank God daily for his gift of music, and for the greater understanding that comes throughout this musical journey....Every tear of frustration, and feeling of joy that I face in music, brings new meaning and understandings of the "Bigger Picture" of life, and of God's grace. I also thank God for teaching me patience. Patience is a virtue, and a daily endeavor, learned not only through my own musical journey, but through the EXTREME patience and nurturing shown to me by my family and my incredibly talented TEACHERS!! My teachers truly lead by example in the area of patience!
