Antonín Leopold Dvořák was a Czech composer. After Bedřich Smetana, he was the second Czech composer to achieve major worldwide recognition. Following Smetana's nationalist example, Dvořák frequently employed aspects, specifically rhythms, of the folk music of Moravia and his native Bohemia.
