Fritz Lehmann Mendelssohn Hebrides overture Berliner Phil 54

Started these two blogs about classical music: http://classicalspotify.blogspot.nl (to sort out the mess Spotify usually is :-) and http://classical-lp.blogspot.nl/ About historic classical records (where possible with Mp3's) Fritz Lehmann (1904-1956) had the bad luck to die just before the stereo age. Is this the reason he is forgotten by the general public? Anyway, here is a strong and brilliantly played Hebrides Overture from Felix Mendelssohn. I de-clicked and eq-ed the record myself. For more classical mp3's, take a look at by blog with the Dutch Radio 4. It's in Dutch, but at the bottom of the pages are my transfers of pre 1958 Lp's. Please write on the blog what you think of the recordings! Enjoy!
