I remember when I was in primary school, I once heard Anne-Sophie Mutters performance of Pablo de Sarasate's Carmen Fantasy on radio. Enchanted by her performance, I went on listening to many other renditions as well as other classical compositions. I later bought Mutter's CD "Carmen-Fantasie" published by Deutsche Grammophon, and it remains to be my favourite recording to date.
