“La Conocchia” is a classical piece composed by Gaetano Donizetti. It is one of the first pieces I learned to sing and it’s really enjoyable. The audio quality in this video isn’t great, but it was just for fun. Stay tuned for a special video coming out later this week. The lyrics, translated from Italian, speak about sitting at the window and spinning when wanting to communicate with a loved one. When they pass by, the thread is broken and they are asked to return it. A fire ignites inside that will burn forever.
