Luigi Alva performed “Un’aura amorosa” from Mozart’s “Cosi Fan Tutte” with conductor Otto Klemperer and the New Philharmonia Orchestra. The paintings featured in the performance were by Francesco Hayez, a renowned Italian Romanticism artist known for his historical paintings and portraits. Hayez came from a poor family in Venice and was apprenticed to an art restorer before studying under painter Francisco Magiotto. Special thanks to 77Opera for their assistance.
