Mozart’s Prague Symphony, performed by Saint Martin in the Fields, is an early classical symphony from the 18th century. It consists of three movements and was scored for various instruments including flutes, oboes, bassoons, horns, trumpets, timpani, and strings. The first movement starts with a slow introduction followed by an Allegro section. The second movement is Andante in G major and the finale is Presto. This symphony deviates from tradition by not including a minuet.
