The Creation Oratorio – Haydn

Joseph Haydn was a composer who made significant contributions to classical music. Born in 1732 in Rohrau, Austria, Haydn showed an early talent for music and began his career as a choirboy in Vienna. He later worked as a freelance musician before landing a prestigious position as the court composer for the wealthy Esterházy family. This position allowed Haydn the freedom to experiment and develop his unique musical style.
