Anna Malikova performs Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty: Adagio in 2005 at Dom Muzyki Moscow. Her career started in the former Soviet Union and expanded to the West after winning competitions in Oslo, Warsaw, and Sydney. She won 1st Prize at the ARD Competition Munich in 1993. Malikova has a busy concert schedule and recorded numerous CDs featuring works by Chopin, Schubert, Liszt, Shostakovich, Prokofiev, and Soler. Her five piano concertos by Camille Saint-Saëns with the Radio Symphony Orchestra Cologne received international attention and were rewarded with the Classical Internet Award in 2006.
