Valentina Igoshina is a Russian classical pianist born on November 4, 1978, in Bryansk, Russia. She studied under Larisa Dedova and Sergueï Dorenksy at the Tchaïkovsky Conservatory of Moscow. Igoshina has won several international piano competitions, including the Rachmaninov Competition in Moscow, the Queen Elizabeth Competition in Brussels in 2003, and the International Piano Competition Jose Iturbi in Spain in 2006. She has performed with orchestras such as the Halle Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, and Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Igoshina has also participated in festivals like “Dushniki Zdoi” and “Ravello Music Festival.”
