Gershwin collaborated with his brother Ira, who wrote the lyrics for many of his songs, resulting in timeless classics such as “Summertime” and “I Got Rhythm.”
Sadly, George Gershwin’s life was cut short when he passed away at the age of 38 due to a brain tumor. However, his impact on the world of music continues to be felt today. His unique ability to merge classical music with popular styles like jazz has made him an enduring figure in the music industry.
