[BelAir Classiques BAC050] Peer Gynt – Choreographer Heinz Spoerli combines Grieg’s score with modern sounds for a dance translation of Ibsen’s protagonist, exploring his emotional abyss. To enhance the ballet, Spoerli incorporates music from contemporary composers Brett Dean and Mark-Anthony Turnage. The Zurich Ballet, led by Spoerli, performs the production with Marijn Rademaker as Peer Gynt. The Orchestra and Choir of the Zurich Opera accompany the performance.
