Monika Vrabcová, born in Prague in 1983, is a talented violinist. She began playing the violin at age 5 and participated in numerous competitions, winning several prizes for her interpretation of compulsory works. In 1998, she won first prize at the International music competition in San Bartolomeo and went on to have her debut concert at Casals Hall in Tokyo. Vrabcová studied at the Prague Conservatoire under prof. Jaroslav Foltýn from 1997 to 2002 and concluded her studies with a performance of Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 2.
