Vivaldi’s Four Seasons – Summer

Antonio Vivaldi, a violinist and composer, was born in Venice, Italy in 1678. He grew up in a musical family and received his early education in music from his father. Vivaldi’s life was heavily influenced by his passion for music, and he dedicated himself to the study and composition of music from a young age. He is best known for his compositions for the violin, particularly his concertos. Vivaldi’s musical career flourished during his time as the music director at the Ospedale della Pietà in Venice, where he composed numerous works for the talented all-female orchestra and choir.

His most famous composition is “The Four Seasons,” a set of four violin concertos that depict the changing seasons through music.
